Teacher Marta Ivette Rivera Alanís calmed the children by encouraging them to sing. In Mexico, violent deaths linked to drug trafficking have continued to rise since then. In 2021, a group of municipal police officers were ambushed in Epitacio Huerta, and an audio recording of one of them asking for help using the code “K8” was leaked. These contrasting events, portrayed in this short film, reveal some of the many facets of drug trafficking.
